Look how far we've come

From Freshman year

When every girl had the hots for Sawyer

To now

Where every girl has the hots for Merms

My now former-friend asked me if CHS was an all girls school

I had to resist the urge to punch him in the face

He said CHS was for future failures, the worst of the vocational schools

I had to shut him the heck up

So I had to tell him was CHS really was about

CHS is the school where you get bullied for not participating in spirit week

The school where you are expected to be in 14 different clubs

The school where mold infects 6 different classrooms

The school where even the smartest kids are crying over the listening portion of Spanish III tests

The school where the physics teacher is going to dress up as Santa Claus at CCC Headstart

The school where my sophomore english teacher pulled me out of class to practice my Mr. CHS

act

The school where you learn lifelong lessons that will be with you wherever you go

The school where you form friendships for the rest of your life

The school where the Girl-To-Boy ratio is perfect for a teenage guy

But seriously, seriously

I cannot ask.. for a better Girl-to-Boy ratio

Things are tough these days in the love department (you know who you are)

But there's just so many of them to choose from

It's great

In fact, let me tell you a story about my experience 

I asked this girl I had a little crush on to help her with something

She said "nah, we're good"

Like come on man

I didn't strike up this conversation to write on the stupid billboard

I wanted to talk to you!

But alas

Communications High School

Thank you for the memories, the everlasting friendships

And giving me the opportunity to do some epic slam poetry
