            my chance to finally start anew
a new life with someone
            who finally
                         gets it.
your gold threads in the tapestry
            lines my fantasy
            shimmering
                        like the glitter on my
                        neck
                        when i lie next
                                    to your grin.
how could i ever begin
            to tell you of your beauty?
            of the silvers and iron,
                         diamonds and quartz
                         value unmeasured
                         and more unmatched
                                    than a broken puzzle.
i forfeit my freedom
             to stay yours
                         and yours

bound by lovers' blood,
            we are soulmates.

             same tapestry,
                         same renaissance.
pull me apart
